Our Approach
Our Approach
We understand the risks of basing decisions purely on cost, service or quality so we take into account all three when developing a cost control strategy. Our objective is to achieve the best value without compromising any of these three components.
The model (left) is used to understand our clients requirements and achieve their cost control objectives, and is the process used to maximise our ability to deliver you cost savings.
Consultation
Objective: Understand and evaluate client's requirements.
Our initial consultation enables us to understand your challenges, requirements and opportunities. This 'discovery' meeting also provides you with an opportunity to meet us and assess our ability to meet your needs and agree the next steps.
- Data Collation
Objective: Gather meaningful data to conduct detailed analysis.
The data collection process will identify what data is available and whether the quality is sufficient to start the analysis process. It will highlight any gaps in data and what steps need to be taken to provide any missing information and identify the type and level of analysis required.
- Analysis
Objective: Conduct a detailed situation analysis to identify current and future challenges and opportunities.
Quality data and intelligent analysis is the key to understanding the challenges and opportunities each business faces. The analytical stage of our approach provides the foundation for any future plans and is critical for the best solution to be applied.
- Strategic Insight
Objective: Develop a sustainable and long term solution in line with business needs.
Once the analysis has been completed we apply the findings to a strategic context and assess and understand the short, medium and long term implications and opportunities. This stage takes into account the strategic direction of the clients business.
- Operational Focus
Objective: Understand and evaluate the operational impact on current and future solutions.
All plans and solutions need to be delivered and executed with the minimal risk and maximum reward. Understanding the operational requirements is key to successful implementation, and to ensure service and quality levels are maintained and improved where possible.
- Best Practice
Objective: Use past experience and learning's to work smarter not harder.
We have proven tools, methodologies and techniques that are based on best practice to deliver successful results. This approach ensures the plans we develop are robust and reduces any risks. Applying best practice is a proven and recognised technique to work more efficiently and deliver the best results.
- Planning
Objective: To ensure all stakeholders understand objectives, priorities and methodology.
Planning is the backbone of all successful projects and is used to identify priorities, deadlines, key milestones and the resources required to deliver a new solution. It also identifies risks, rewards and dependencies and highlights roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders. A project plan is always produced for client projects.
- Partnership
Objective: Foster a collaborative relationship to deliver mutually beneficial gains.
We aim to become an extension of your team and relationships are developed and nurtured right from the beginning in order to understand the client needs. Partnerships are formed once the relationship is established and when all parties work to achieve the same goals.
- Implementation
Objective: To deliver the project plan on schedule and ensure project objectives are achieved.
An implementation plan with key milestones, deadlines, roles and responsibilities is developed for all projects and is updated at regular intervals to measure and communicate progress. We pride ourselves on the successful execution of our plans and this tool measures our performance and the overall success of the project.
- Review
Objective: Evaluate effectiveness of solution and ensure savings delivery.
A regular review process whether with the client or a new supplier maintains momentum and focuses on continuous improvement, and provides an opportunity to measure performance against objectives and ensure cost savings targets and service levels are being met.
